Does anyone here have problems with watery eyes? I've been diagnosed with a combination of SLE, RA, fibro, etc.

My left eye "weeps" when inside public spaces (stores, malls, etc), when wearing eye makeup, or when it is cold outside. Tears run down my face and other folks think I'm crying. Of course, when my eye weeps, my nose starts running in sympathy.

Is this a symptom, or a quirky allergy thing? Thanks.

My mom has the same problem and we've been told it's because her eyes are dry - she has Sjeogren's (sp?). The artificial tears eyedrops (or any moisturizing drops - not visine type) help her eyes feel better and weep less.

Hope that helps and the eye drops won't hurt anything and may help. No perscription is needed for them.
