I'm a 56 year old woman, recently diagnosed with Lupus (and some other connective tissue diseases.) My rheumatologist says I'm not 'presenting like a 56 year old woman.' Evidently, late onset Lupus is sometimes less severe, but I've had pericarditis (hospitalized 3 times now) and have had some severe complications with my leg (plexopathy, says the neurologist, related to autoimmune disease.) So many questions; so much happening since I got sick in May. Never saw so many pills. Glad to know others are out there. Thanks.
