About a week ago I came down with a sinus infection. I had planned to go the dentist and start the process of getting an implant. Well that has been put on hold! The dentist was going to put in the post last Tuesday. When I finally went to the Dr. for the sinus infection, she said, " You are allergic to so many medications I don't know what to give you for it. What do the Drs. normally give you for it?" I said, "I think a derivative of pencillin, but at this point I am not sure as I have been given so many meds over the years for so many different things." I said, "look in my chart." She did and she gave me Cephalexin and Prednisone. I am slowly getting better. At least the inflammation is less, the headache and sinus pressure is pretty much resolved and I can breathe through my nose again. Also, the blood isn't coming out of the nose anymore also. Like so many of you, it is something all the time, and multiple things all at once. I know you can all relate.

sorry you are going through this AGAINfor me, with my sinus issues, I resolved them with an operation.I had them cleaned and straightened.now I wash them regularly with a nasal rinse, and things are greatly improved.I still get the occasional infection ..... but nothing like I used to.is surgery an option for you?

I didn't even know you could have surgery for this problem. No Dr. ever mentioned it to me.

time to ask for an appointment with a E.N.T. specialist.(ears, nose, throat)they specialise in this area of the body, and will know what options suit your condition.

Steve B. -- [I] have been seeing an allergist and thought he could take care of my problem, but he hasn't so far. I never thought about an ENT. Thank you for your help.
