well mikaela has been put on propranol to lower her heart rate she had a monitor on for 24 hours and her heart rate varies it went up to 159 beats per minute at one stage she is tired all the time. she is only 18 . they definetly think she has postural orthastic tachychardia syndrome. pots for short . every time she gets up her blood pressure drops and her heart goes up to compensate. so she is on numerous drugs now. Zoloft to keep her anxiety and depression in check and to help with her panic disorder. twice a day. valium once a day. and now propranol . lot of drugs for 18 year old . but it seems it is hereditary. her sister has it. and it can be linked to autoimmune disease. so it seems my lupus . just keeps on giving to my daughters. its genetic. well I am sick at the moment I think all the worry has caused me to flare. cannot eat without feeling sick. extreme migraines. muscle pain is so severe back on my endone again. finding it hard to get out of bed . my mind is all muddled and my fingers are not working so well. my body temperature is fluctuating. so all in allnot the best few weeks but will have to deal.have to many people to look after right now to worry about me. a bit of good news though found out my great great great grandmother was a very well known aboriginal lady. always suspected was from aboriginal heritage and am very proud to be associated with her. nice to know where you come from. well everyone hope you are all well my friends have great day luv and hugs kim l

kim,
i am sorry to hear your daughters are no going well.

please remember, that your genes may have been part of the reason for there illness ......
but not all of it.
my 2 children are also not in excellent health .......
but it is not all my fault.
life throws funny unfair combinations together.

the genes alone do not completely determine auto immune disorders.
they are a factor,
but so are many other things.

These things that happen to us are not anyone's fault. I am also glad you found out more about your heritage. It's exciting isn't it?

Hi Kim;
I'm sorry to hear that you are ill now and that your daughter is still having issues with her heart. I do hope that this treatment regimen works for her. I know that it is difficult to see someone so young have to deal with so much and, as a parent, we want to make it all go away. I am sending you my prayers and warm hugs filled with understanding.

Peace and Blessings
Namaste
