Hi everyone!
I don't know about you, but since I have been ill...actually, that's forever, so maybe I should say 'because I'm ill...' I find it difficult to opt out of the fun things people to invite me to in a way that doesn't playback to sound like "I can't do anything, I can't be bothered, I'm boring, I'm just searching for an excuse to say no".

Of course, this could just be how it sounds to me (since in my own little world my health is such a big thing!).

Is there a way to say no thanks to something whilst making it clear I still like people and being invited, I just have to be careful what I do!?

This could just be my need for people to like me despite the fact I often stay in and recently have been too unwell to socialise much at all.

Thoughts anyone?
Jx

I think that what you just said is perfect. Simply share with them your statement above. That says it all and explains at the same time!
I wish you the best of luck

as i just said in another post ...........
you need to stand up for you ..
if someone has never experienced what we are going through .....
it is outside of there realm of understanding ....
it is not there fault .... they just do not understand.

and i agree with saysusie .....
use your own description :)
