I have hurt my back at work, about two hours ago. It feels like a pulled muscle.
Should I put ice on it, or heat?
I can bend down fairly easy, but I can't stand up straight, I am hunched over like a very old women.

How 'r you doin' with the back, Debbie? I'll use both ice and heat on mine. I start with heat for about 15-20 min, then do the ice for a similar time, then back to the heat, etc. It supposedly will help "pump" more blood through the site. I don't knwo whether to believe that or not... lol - I've been doing it for years like that, ever since I twisted my ankle in a soccer game years ago, and was back on it the next day doing the hot/cold cycle stuff. Now that I'm older (much), *nothing* seems to help me heal faster. lolol |;^)

Thanks guys,

After two days of rest, heat, Mobic and Flexeril, I was almost back to normal. Still feel a twitch once in a while.
