My name is Tami and I was just diagnosed 1 month ago. I'm still trying to get a grasp on everything happening with my body.

Read through any threads that interest you, including the stickys at the top of each forum. When you want to make a comment or ask a question, feel free to add to any thread or start your own new one. We have members from all over the world in many time zones, so there is usually someone hanging around to answer your questions.

Hi Tami. Welcome to WHL. Sorry you havent seen any responses yet but weekends and holidays are kind of quiet around here. It should pick up on Tues.

The first thing I want you to know is that Lupus is not a death sentence. There Re meds that can help you through the flares and find your "new normal". We will be here with you the whole way.

Welcome, Tami! I'm sorry that you have lupus, but I am happy you found this board, which is full of wonderful people and great information. I'm new around here, too, and so far I'm very impressed. So, welcome, and I hope you're doing well!

Hi Tami,

I am newly diagnosed as well. I was diagnosed in the beginning of April. This forum has really helped add some additional and much needed support into my life. I hope you feel the same.
