I get high bp when I am flaring. Mine usually runs low around 100/60 and then when I'm flaring it goes up 130-150/70-90s.

I'm not put on medication for it though because if the flares are controlled it goes away.

I'm not familiar with constant high bp in Lupus so I can't say anything about the meds sorry.

Hope someone who can relate will be able to give you more info!

I always had very low blood pressure but I have very high blood pressure now ( LOL I would love mine to be what Mommyof1's is when flaring!). The thing that sent me to the hospital the first time (I had been sick for years before but had ignored it thinking I was getting old) was that my blood pressure shot up in the upper 200's/ over upper 100's. Yep... scared the ER people as much as it did me.

I don't take the same meds but I am on meds to keep it under control
