These new guidelines do recommend a more comprehensive testing and treatment regimen which could, forseeable, prevent further damage and/or avoid damage. It is only hoped that our doctors will utilize these comprehensive regimens without us having to agrue with them to got them to follow these guidelines. Since they are specific to Lupus nephritis, it would seem that they would be willing to do so, But, as we all know, all doctors are not so willing to make such changes, unless we, ourselves, insist that they do and stand up as our own advocates!!
