I'm not sure if any of you know but I am currently travelling Australia and dealing with a recent diagnosis of Lupus. I want to keep living my life as much as possible with Lupus getting in the way. I have been writing a blog about my travels and keep any mention of illness to a minimum, as it is my positive thing.
So I wanted to share it with any of you who are interested.
I really enjoy writing and I'm glad that most days my creative mind is working enough to do this place some justice with my descriptions. I hope!
So if you have some time to kill and don't mind a read then please do, I'm slowly gaining the confidence to share my writing with others. I hope you enjoy x

Cool! Thanks for the link. I'm going to read it, and share it with my grandson. He loves Australia, and hope to go to college there. He and his parents are going there to visit next year, when he's in 8th grade, so that he can have a look at the colleges.

I've posted a new entry on my blog recently if anyone fancies a read. I had a really good couple of weeks at the beginning of this leg of the journey and I felt like I was flying! A great way to start the journey. Things are starting to flare a bit now but thats probably the stress of such a big session of being on the go.
Anyway, this was a beautiful part of the journey down the West MacDonnell Ranges in Alice Springs. Absolutely stunning, especially swimming in a natural waterhole for the first time ever!
Enjoy :) xx

Get me being all productive...I've already finished the newest entry to my blog!!
Coober Pedy is one of the most bizarre and fascinating places I have ever visited. One of the hottest places on Earth, it is home to incredible opal mines. This is my account of our visit there earlier this year if anyone fancies a read. 18 photo's this time too!
