Hi guys!

Recent bloodwork by my GP showed a B12 deficiency. I am taking supplements orally and will be retested in 6 months. I am not worried about it but wondered if it might be related to my lupie self or just normal everyday me. Lol! Anyway, any of you have a b12 deficiency?
Thanks,

Bunny

Bunny,
My doc was just sure that I had a B12 deficiency. However, the result came back that it was high - 1350! She told me to lay off of the supplements.
I read an interesting report. It said that the US minimum is 400IU. Japan and other countries have set the minimum at 800IU. There are a lot of researchers who think that the US needs to raise that minimum.
Hugs,
Marla

there was a thread started before about how many of us are low in b12.

australians are lucky.........
we have lots of b12 in one of our favourite lunch spreads - vegimite.

maybe you should try some.... i know rob enjoyed it.
