I tried to find the thread about teenage daughters but I couldn't find it, so I thought I would start one about teenage sons. I have had 3 teenage daughters, and I teach 11 and 12 year old boys, and at times, this is how they behave. Well that is in Australia anyway. Can you please tell me if the clip is typical teenage boy behaviour world wide.

Just in case I can't insert the clip here, would someone insert it for me.

OMG this is hysterical!!! I'm cracking up laughing! I'm sharing this with my sister. She has two girls - (almost) 21yo & 16yo and a boy 13yo. This video could be any of them.

After watching that clip I cannot wait for the teenage years!!!!! I've a 7yo boy and 3yo girl and they NEVER SHUT UP!!! Which would be ok if I didn't miss half of what they were saying and they usually have to repeat everything 3 or 4 times so I can get the jist! I know some of it is the "fog" but for sure there is a part of me that switches off and soon as they start to speak LOL! Roll on monosyllabic conversations LOL

From my teaching experience and as an aunt...yup, it's that way in Canada too!
