The neurology surrounding pain and the brain is really amazing! http://thesensitiveman.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Hypnosis-and-Pain-2.png ('http://thesensitiveman.com/hypnosis/pain/hypnosis-and-pain-control/') Pain control can lead to reduced activation of the anterior cingulate cortex in general, which causes that area to get desensitized to stimulation (which it normally is getting activated all the time by pain). Great link!

Gizmo,
This goes pretty far for explaining our brain fog, doesn't it?
Thanks for the link.
